Clean Water At The Home, 2007

This is the central water line into the village of Bura. Many of the people of the village and outlying areas come together here to get their daily water supply.

Once the difficult and expensive task of bringing the water down to the orphanage was completed, it was easier to bring a second line to the village.

As you can see, many come, both young and old to gather water for their daily needs.

These young girls are loading the water onto their bikes and will pedal the heavy containers many miles to their homes.

Regardless of age, everyone is expected to help with the carrying of the water.
