Our Scholarship Recipients

These students receive scholarships based on their merit and academic standing. A scholarship of $980 CAD, funds a student for a year. Students are eligible for a renewable scholarship if they maintain excellent academic standing.

For the last 8 years, Heartbeat Ministries has been involved in supporting bright but needy high school students from the Bura area. This is in a move to transform the living standards of the area using education as the subject of change. The journey has been quite fruitful witnessing the beneficiaries living to their words of utilizing the scholarship opportunity well by scoring good marks to guarantee them of university slot. The philosophy behind this initiative is that if these students can be supported to go through high school and manage to go to the university and get good courses which will help them get a good job that will reduce poverty in the family and to the society.

If you have supported a student through high school and would like to donate towards their university education, reach out to us at ministriesheartbeat@hotmail.com for more information.
