There are THREE WAYS to Sponsor a Child through
Heartbeat Ministries:

Sponsor A Pre-Primary Student

The Father’s Heart School was started as an initiative to help children see their abilities, purpose, and immense value that each of them carries. Despite the harsh living conditions of many of the children, the school has become a safe house for them where they are free to play, learn, eat, and love. When you sponsor a pre-primary child, you will receive the name and picture of the child you are supporting.

For $50 a month, you can help supply a child with a complete school uniform, shoes, school and play equipment, meals, and the immeasurable opportunity to learn, play, and grow with friends. This sponsorship commitment is for 2 years, tracking with a child’s time at the school.

Sponsor The Tinies Program

The tinies are the children under 4 years old who wander the streets while their parents or grandparents look for food for the day! This is such a heartbreaking situation. When you sponsor the Tinies Program, you will receive regular updates and pictures from the Tinies Program. For $50 a month, you will be helping Father’s Heart School run a day program for these little ones that provide them with shelter, food, laughter, and love.

Sponsor a High school Student

For the last 8 years, Heartbeat Ministries has been involved in supporting bright high school students in need from the Bura area. We have seen the fruit of this sponsorship, as education helps these young people to transform their lives and by extension their communities. Beneficiaries of this scholarship opportunity work hard to get the marks that guarantee them a spot in university.

A scholarship of $980 CAD funds a student for a year. These students receive scholarships based on their merit and academic standing. Students are eligible for a renewable scholarship if they maintain excellent academic standing.

Consider sponsoring a high school student and impact not only their life but the livelihoods of their families and communities.

The Heartbeat Farm is an integral part of Bura and the surrounding communities. It is a place for training, growing, and community. The “Shamba” is a place where many come to trade work for tools, seedlings, or fencing, as well as home to our many agricultural and water projects, bees, fruits, and animals.

One of the greatest struggles in this region of Kenya is harvesting water in the rainy season and keeping it during the dry season. Heartbeat has projects like the fish pond, solar water, and the water pan to demonstrate different sustainable water farming techniques.
